This page describes the technical requirements for using Simsala Desktop. Requirements may change with new versions, especially when operating systems, Tauri, WebView components, AI providers, or supported connectors change.

Simsala Desktop is a local desktop app for visual AI workflows. The app stores projects locally in vaults, but uses external AI providers for generation jobs that you connect yourself.

Language version: These legal texts are provided in German and English. In the event of discrepancies, inconsistencies, or questions of interpretation between the German and English version, the German version shall prevail. 1. Supported Operating Systems

Simsala Desktop is provided/supported on the following platforms:

Simsala Desktop is local-first, but not fully offline if you use licensing functions or external AI providers.
